İrfan Okan

IRFAN OKAN (1960 - )

İrfan Okan, born in 1960 in İzmir, made his first experiments in the field of art with his ceramic works in the early 1980s. Between 1982-1988, he studied Painting at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University and even got a chance to attend the workshops of Neşe Erdok and Devrim Erbil. Okan, who did his graduate studies in 1988-1990, held his first personal exhibition in 1991 in Istanbul (Ramko). He won the first prize in the Contemporary Turkish Painting Competition opened by the Ramko Gallery in 1990. He interprets the depth effect of the landscape according to an arrangement approach that will allow psychological perception.
